Metal Heart is a modern rock collaboration between songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and bassist Rob Kane and songwriter and keyboardist Ross Santos who share a love for the melodic power of '80s and '90s AOR and melodic hard rock. United by a passion for powerful songwriting, memorable melodies, and contemporary rock production, the duo created Metal Heart as a vehicle for crafting music that blends emotion, energy, and cinematic soundscapes.
Drawing inspiration from both classic and modern rock, Metal Heart combines driving guitars, soaring vocals, atmospheric keyboards, and hook-filled choruses into a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Unlike a traditional band with a fixed lineup, Metal Heart is a creative partnership. Rob and Ross write, arrange, and produce the music together, collaborating with select musicians when a song calls for additional performances.
